Combine Two Great Things...
Jarrett J. Krosoczka is a longtime friend of the show -- he produced the books side of the Meltdown, he's been on a couple of times, and so on. A couple of months ago he asked about who would be a good band to approach about doing a theme song for his new Lunch Lady graphic novel series. Somehow, I had a feeling that Recess Monkey would be perfect. And, sure enough:

Hopefully we'll get Jarrett by the studio to chat about the song and the series, and of course Recess Monkey will be (a) guest DJing on June 27 and (b) in town for a live show on July 12 (details still getting worked out). But for now, just enjoy that awesome song and preview video!

whoa! I love everything about that! The graphics are really fun - looks like a book my kids would love. And really! Who better than Recess Monkey? They know the lunch lady better than any other musicians anywhere, but still kick it old school! More exclamation points? Yes!
