Yet another update...

Our New York adventure continues to be great fun. Last night we hung out with various Deedle Deedle Dees and guests, then today we saw an awesome Justin Roberts show (with the full Not Ready for Naptime Players band). We've seen Justin several times, but always just with Liam Davis -- it was great fun to see the full band. They are really, really good. Got to talk briefly with Justin afterwards, and he was, as always, very kind.

One odd coincidence: last night we saw a brief video from some of the Dees' former incarnation in a Smiths cover band. (No, I'm not kidding.) And then today Justin mentioned that they got a request for -- yes! -- a Smiths cover. But they didn't in fact play one.

Me: not a Smiths fan.

And we're fixing to go over to the venue first to see Toxic Muffin and Tiny Masters, then our big ol' party.

Whoo-hoo!
